Be a Real Team Captain

I started hanging out at a new dart bar and turns out on one particular night while I was practicing, they had league night. I was eager to join a team and jumped at the chance when "Suzy" needed a player. She was the team captain and I didn't know her, but again, I was eager to join a team and quickly signed up. What a mistake! Suzy was the epitome of a poor sportsman. She wasn't a bad shot but after losing a match she really had an attitude and refused to shake the hand of her opponent. And if we lost our matches for the night she didn't shake the hands of the other team members, which in the spirit of good sportsmanship, all darters do. I was embarrassed to be on her team and always took a moment to speak to the other team and tell them nice darts. I couldn't get off that team fast enough. Suzy, if you're out there and reading this, be a good sport. And if I come up against you in a match, I'll do my best to skillfully win but either way I'll shake your hand to say "nice darts".

A Very Passionate, But Disgruntled Darter
