One of the greatest dart players in the world is Mr. John Lowe. He's won thousands of titles but the one that he is most known for is for shooting that very first TELEVISED perfect '501 game (9 darter) in 1984! Other darters have accomplished this same feat but we all need to remember the impact of this in 1984. Not only was this televised but he won a great deal of money! Over 500 newspapers carried the story the next day and he was catapulted into the public's eye as a sport legend.
