The Dart Organizers

Do you think the pros and the major organizers are working together in today's world of darts? Are you satisfied with the way that the PDC (England's Professional Darts Corporation) is progressing in the right direction? And how do you deal with the politics of darts?

I think the organizers are helping each other by opposing each other. Crazy? No.By striving to outdo each other they are having to put more effort into securing sponsorship and tournaments than if they were on the same side. There is no room for complacency in today's world of darts. Each for each other and not each for each other seems to be the motto. The pros have always worked together in the same self destructive way. After all there is only one cake and they all want the biggest piece. In recent years, since the Players Association was formed, the players do strive for a say in the sport and they have achieved that with the PDC. The BDO have never listened to the players and this will be their downfall.

Politics, I have realized I have to accept them and give an honest opinion of them. I don't like them when they are used to benefit individuals. I do not like authority full stop. I was deemed a rebel by Mr. Croft years ago and I have probably come to like his affectionate name for me.
