Tam Speaks Up About the Game of Darts

Hi...It's Tam and if this is an appropriate story, I would like to drop a note about one of my favorite friends in the world who also happens to be an excellent darter (but to hear him tell it, he sucks!) His name is Steve D. and he is originally from England (still has the killer accent) but has resided in Illinois for a long time. I met him a few years ago while throwing steel dip darts with my now fiancee, Thomas. He and Steve are good friends.

Steve is an excellent darter. He almost always hits what he needs whether it's to close a number to get his partner out of a tight spot or to take out a crazy number that no one else could hit if they wanted too to cheering on his teammates with so much encouragement you just wanna hug him!! (Which I usually do...)

I tell you this because he too is a fellow passionate darter. He has thrown steel tip for the past few years out of Kankakee and before that, he and Thomas used to travel from Kankakee to Chicago to throw darts and also enjoys plastic tip. Come this fall, he, Thomas, myself and the passionate darter website creator herself are going to join forces and make a drive to the big city for mixed league in the fall.

None of us can wait!!

To me, that is what darting is all about! Good friends, good times and when you're me, hopefully able to throw good darts!
