Random Thoughts from a Random Kinda Darter

I am not sure where this column is going but I've got darts on my mind hence, a perfect opportunity to sit down and write about what is on my mind and what I am indeed passionate about - DARTS!

People are not perfect and darters are not perfect either. Add in egos, alcohol, people's natural imperfections, a little emotion and darters are not always on their best behavior nor do they always make the best decisions for their team. The truth of the matter is that life is not fair and if you haven't realized it by now, let me be the first to tell you right here, darts are not always fair.

If you are not a Team Captain, sure you can let your opinion be known when you disagree with decisions that are made but the bottom line is that as a team member it is your job to do what's best for the team and trust your Team Captain. And if you cannot live with that well, then the decision is yours - either stay on the team or not. Period. This does not necessarily mean anything bad per se, or that darters are bad per se, just that as imperfect people, darters don't always agree 100% with everyone that they shoot darts with. And that's okay. The important part is that you are true to yourself and act with honor in the spirit of good sportsmanship. There's simply too much drama in the world already then to have to deal with it at darts as well.

As always, shoot well and I'll see you at the line.
